Amy N. Grimmer
Amy Grimmer currently serves as President and CEO of Centripetal Consulting Group (CCG). Grimmer founded the company in 2007 with the concise mission to improve the positive impact that employers can realize through HR Outsourcing. Amy created and developed the vision of Centripetal Consulting Group – changing the dynamic of decision making. Her clients and vendor network of HR service providers look to her and CCG’s associates as a trusted, unbiased resource to understanding the complexity of HR Outsourcing. Each of her clients has unique needs and Grimmer is instrumental in bridging the knowledge gap for employers on how to effectively deploy the right outsourcing strategy. The HR service marketplace is rapidly growing and Grimmer’s vast knowledge of the HR space saves her clients a tremendous amount of time and confusion otherwise spent trying to navigate it.
As the founder and CEO of CCG, Grimmer has conducted over 200 unique consulting engagements with employers ranging in size from 5 employees to 30,000 employees. These engagements have included HR outsourcing functional and financial feasibility analysis, HR strategy consulting, and Vendor Procurement Outsourcing.
Prior to founding CCG, Amy Grimmer served the Human Resource Outsourcing industry in a business development capacity. Her experience spans several functional HR practice areas including HR Outsourcing strategy including Payroll/Tax Filing, HRIS and Benefits Administration, Health & Welfare, Retirement Plans, Workers Compensation, PEO and ASO Arrangements, HR Compliance & Strategy, and Recruitment Process Outsourcing. Grimmer’s prior employers include Ceridian, ADP, Aerotek, Advantec, and RSM McGladrey Employer Services. To date, Grimmer has consulted with over 1000 employers conducting evaluation engagements that include multiple facets of HR Outsourcing Strategy including Payroll/Tax Filing, HR Technology and Benefits Administration, Health & Welfare, Retirement Plans, Training, Performance Management, Compensation, Workers Compensation, PEO and ASO Arrangements, HR Compliance, and Recruitment Process Outsourcing.
Amy Grimmer exhibits extreme passion and dedication to the HR outsourcing industry and is widely recognized by employers and her industry peers as an expert in the area of HR vendor procurement. She effectively developed CCG as the first Vendor Procurement Outsourcer (VPO) unique to the HR Outsourcing industry. She is an avid networker, author, and student of her profession. Amy has published several articles, whitepapers, and an E-Book on various topics within the HR Outsourcing space. Grimmer currently holds a Group 1 Life and Health Insurance License under the Texas Department of Insurance and is in process of obtaining her SPHR certification as well as her Series 6 and 63 Securities Licenses. She is an active member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization and Vistage International. Grimmer also actively participates as a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) on a national level and frequently works with DallasHR, SHRM’s local chapter.
Amy is a graduate of the University of Missouri and holds a BA in Communications and a BA in English. She has completed coursework for her Masters of Business Administration in Human Resource Management at Lindenwood University.
